How do you find your own style in a short period of time?
I noticed that my style is already similar to one of my influences here in DA, and I think that I should change it. Not that it's a bad thing that our styles are somewhat similar, but I want people to distinguish my art in my own style. I don't want to be called a copycat or anything in the near future, so does others accusing my idols the same. I respect my influences a lot so I don't want to have issues regarding them. Am I making sense?
I'm just desperate for improvement.

2017 Updates
Hullo , Folks.
Maybe you've been wondering where I was and why I wasn't so active. Or maybe not. Here's why, anyway: Work and laziness. I have been more active on Facebook because it was convenient. As you already know, I have always tried to be minimal when it comes to making sites and accounts and all that, because my OCD can't handle it. Despite that, Friends(and my ever longing curiosity) have managed to convince me to make an Instagram account, which still has nothing in it except my profile picture.

Sorry for the lack of updates! I mean geez, 2016 is almost over and I haven't uploaded a damn thing. Been really busy with work but will try to, though. I've got some art uploaded on Artspice that I think would be fine gracing the pages of DA and maybe some more recent work as well. There are some comic strips but they're in Filipino so I don't think I'll post those here. Well, gotta get on with it!

How are things? I've been posting again so that's good. Do people still read DA journals?:XD: Noticed a lot of changes going around the site huh. Must be because almost everyone moved to tumblr and DA people are enticing them back.:XD: Well I'm staying here. I know a lot of my watchers and people I watch, left and that's okay.
Imma keep things simple from now on with the journal entries. I always loved putting other people's icons here and help promote them that's why my entries are long Haha!:XD: I'll keep posting, that goes without saying but please do check out Artspice! too. yes minsan nakakainis when you still haven't decided on a style, and you start looking for influences and end up drawing too much like them... annoying. >_>
